Climate and clothing

August is one of the hottest months of the year in Germany. Temperatures of at least 20 and as high as 30 degrees Celsius are expected.
As a result, it makes sense to ensure that most of your luggage contains light, summer clothes. However, it is possible that the temperatures may fall on occasions and we may have some rain so it is a good idea to have a couple of warmer and some waterproof articles of clothing in there as well.

On official occasions, suitable clothing is required. Any typical local costumes from your home region are also welcome.

Remember to bring sturdy walking shoes. Even if the weather is warm, we are planning a number of activities with you for which bare feet and sandals will be highly unsuitable.
